In the beautiful and spectacular scenery of North Wales. We are currently the only 4 star graded hotel in Llangollen. Ty'n y Wern is set in its own grounds of extensive lawn areas with well tended flower beds and trees, providing the ideal setting for you, whether you wish to just relax and enjoy the surroundings, or have a more energetic sight-seeing break in the splendour of North Wales. With assistance from Wales Tourist Board, we have recently completed a total refurbishment of Ty'n y Wern, and have achieved our ambition to attain 4 star grading. We hope you decide to stay with us, and when you do, you will be assured of a warm and sincere welcome. We look forward to hearing from you soon There is ample parking space in the private grounds, and the hotel is ideally situated as a touring base for North and Mid Wales, including the Borderlands, with many attractions within easy travelling distance. Leisure centres and golf clubs at Llangollen, Chirk, Wrexham and Oswestry (We are 1/2 a mile from the Vale of Llangollen golf course), water sports at the renowned Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake), Chirk Marina on the Llangollen Canal, superb shopping at Chester, including Cheshire Oaks, Cadfaels Shrewsbury, breathtaking scenery in the Snowdonia National Park, or spoilt for choice at the Abakhan Craft and Fabric Centre.
