 | Originally the Manse, the family run Cairnryan House was built in 1894 and still retains many of its original features today. Our letting rooms are furnished to a high standard, and all have views. During the summer guests can sit out in our garden with a drink from our licensed restaurant, or inside by a fire at other times. Pets - We are sorry but we do not accept Dogs or other pets. Smoking - Cairnryan House and all of its rooms are non smoking. Children - a Cot can be provided for infants. Children over the age of 13 are charged as adults. Breakfast Dining Room - We serve breakfast from 07.30 - 09.00 each day with earlier breakfasts by arrangement. Breakfast consists of a buffet style selection of cereals, yoghurts, bread and fruit followed by a fresh home cooked breakfast made to traditional Scottish recipes using locally farmed produce wherever possible. These include local eggs, bacon, haggis, black pudding, fruit pudding, lorn sausage and potato meal scones. If you require an extra early breakfast, for example if you are catching the 06.00 ferry then we can provide a continental breakfast to take with you. Lunches & Afternoon Teas - Our restaurant is open to the public Tuesdays – Sundays between 10am and 4pm. We serve a selection of hot drinks, sandwiches, rolls, light lunches, afternoon teas and home baking that can be eaten in or to take away. Evening Meals - Guests can be served an evening meal, if requested in advance. Our Restaurant is licensed so you can enjoy a beer or wine with your meal.
